Coon Rapids Nordic Ski Team

Here are the skiers that will be racing at the Section meet next Wednesday. The relay teams will be discussed later.

Boys- Albi, Allen, Jacob, Joshua, Justin, Lachlan, Nicholas
Girls – Bethany, Ella, Hannah L. Liz, Megan, Ruby, Stella
Alternates- Brody, Avalyn, Casey, Emmy

We know Sections is important to our skiers and we want to make sure all skiers know we are very proud of you!

On Tuesday, February 6th, we will be having a pasta party at the high school in the cafeteria so skiers can grab a bite to eat between waxing their skis for the Sections Meet on February 7th! We are looking for volunteers to help fill in the food items needed to make this party happen! Please review the needed items at the link below and use the contact info to let Sara Fuller know what you may be able to bring. This party is open to all skiers, not just the Varsity Sections skiers!

• This is an all day race, please make sure to pack plenty of snacks, lunch, water, and electrolyte drink, along with at least a complete change of dry clothes. The bus will be our main camp.
• The bus will be leaving at 6:15. Conference racers have been excused for the whole day of school.
• For those not racing but want to attend, please have your guardians excuse you from school AND reach out to the coaches so we know how many to expect on the bus. You will not be allowed on the bus if we have not received an email from your guardian at crhsnordicskiing@gmail.com.
• Top 24 Pursuit Skiers in each gender will earn All Conference Honors
• Top 6 Sprint Relay Teams in each gender will earn All Conference Honors

First and Second skiers will do classic and then third and forth skiers with skate.

ABC relays is coming up this Saturday (January 13) and we are requesting some parent volunteers to help with a couple things:

1. Team Check In

2. T-shirt Sales during Boys races

3. T-shirt Sales during Girls races

4. Bib Pickup as the girls finish their races (we need quite a few people assisting in this effort as the girls come racing across the finish line in groups, and un-tying those bibs can be difficult in the cold).
